i didn't attend school on friday cos i was really sick. really. i managed to finish tuesdays with morrie and i really didn't expect myself to cry so hard just before morrie died. i really think this is a nice book. it makes you think twice about what is the most important thing to you in life; getting a high-paying job and earn big bucks to fulfil material needs, or being in touch with your family and friends. sometimes i really feel that life is so short, and i have spent too much time leading a life that is socially acceptable and 'correct', but in actual fact, this is not the life i really want for myself. at the end of each day, i want to be able to say confidently that i have been happy and i have not wasted every moment of my life. but come to think of it, this seems to be almost impossible. pardon me, it's just one of the days where i get very philosophical and let my thoughts carry me away.

this pic was taken when i went out to eat just now. it's hard to find traditional chinese opera nowadays, but don't fret, the ghost month's coming soon.
