haha.. today met up with mel, xy, wq and fiona after work. i was the last one to reach. it's so stupid lah.. i had to confirm that 2 pieces of fax went thru, then someone had to fax 67 pages earlier.. then i had to wait for those 67 pages to be transmitted first then the stupid machine will send mine. anw, it was so funny meeting up and spending time with ur.. just randomly walking around also can have so many funny things happening, like wq and her mannequin, xy and her exclamations while shopping.. in the end we didn't do much shopping, we spent most of the time on the neoprints.. haha.. think this is one of the longest time we spent decorating neoprints.. i think this is the first time i took mrt by the long way (red line) and time passed so fast. if fiona hadn't noticed that it's her stop, i think i'd have missed my own stop. (if i have to stop first..) we had so much fun laughing on the train i think those ppl think we're crazy.. haha think we were quite loud.. actually only xy and fiona were laughing like crazy.. haha.. then discussing about the chalet things.. rem we're supposed to lock ourselves up in the month of may and wq's present shld be a mannequin finger..

today went to the syf competition. it was my first time to the singapore conference hall. it was cold inside.. it was a sad and happy day for me. it's sad because they deserve better. i shall not elaborate on the reasons cos i think we've discussed it alot already today. but i'm happy to meet up with my dearest juniors and friends and i really had fun. though there was a period of sadness. i'm sad not because of the results, but cos they're so sad. they've put in so much effort. i'm not saying other schs din, i'm sure they did, but in a competition, i guess... and who's better is rather subjective too. but at least everyone seemed fine for lunch, and happy to see that they are still united as ever. jiayou for concert.. maybe we can finally treat them to ice-cream tt day.. haha..
started on jap lesson today.. it passed really fast. i guess it's useful, cos it helped to clear up on how to use some particles in jap language.. i was trying to cram what he said into the notes he gave, so i relied on my tiny handwriting, only to realise mel's notes has it all.. i jus haven looked thru it yet.. anw, it reminded me of times in llm's lessons.. not having enough space to write stuff in the notes and having to write on foolscap in the end..
haha.. thinking of old times today again, had fun and really appreciate all the bonds around me.. dread going to work tmr.. btw, thanks junk for helping me to take leave and go today w/o feeling guilty.. haha..

yay finally i'm gg to sign up for jap lesson tmr with mel!! haha.. that means i have to leave work on time every monday or else i'll be late for the lesson.. i need to buy a new bag!! let's go shopping??
i think i created a record in my first job, that i'll never break it ever in the future. i worked ot from monday to friday this week, earliest leaving at 10pm, latest at 10.30pm. haha.. then i also went to work on saturday and today, though only for short hours only. and clever me had to go to slp at 4am this morning.. i worked 7 days in a week.. omg, i can't believe it. but then i realised, doing office work doesn't mean it's a 5 day week. i saw some of my colleagues there too, both on saturday and sunday too.. they work 7 days too.. it's a misconception that office ppl only work on wkdays.. though i have to admit, i'm not sure if they do this everyweek lah..
i went back to hc on saturday in the morning to visit harmoc juniors.. they improved so much since the last time i saw them, which was the day we collected a level results. but one thing i have to day, i really admire them for being able to rem the scores.. haha.. i doubt i'll be able to do it.. esp since my brain is rotting now.. anw, jiayou juniors!! you all can do it!! hc harmoc rox!! haha.. this time went back to hc, realised i missed sch life a lot... saw the surroundings, class benches, audi.. haix..

haix.. so tired.. i worked ot till at least ten everyday for this wk.. have to rush a lot of stuff cos ppl coming to check next week.. so sorry to xy and mel couldn't go out with you all today.. at first there was this pile of things to be sent out, which i think was created from the day i went on hol to china.. ever since then, that table has never been clean and it's always filled with things to be sent out. i don't understand why it can't be done, if i can sorta finish it in one day, tho i have to stay till ten thirty lah.. i admit it's very tiring, but surely the pile can slowly go down day by day? it's been over one wk and the pile just seems to be getting taller. i'm not going to do ot tmr.. i'm leaving on the dot tmr!!! but it's for sure i have to go back to work on sat. worse case scenario, sun also have to work.. i really shld take leave nxt wk, take a break.. but if being on leave means i have a pile of things to send out, i'd rather not.

just returned from my china trip on thursday morning at 12 plus am.. by the time i sleep it's
already 3 am.. then i still have to go to work in the morning. i think i'm the only one who went
to work as usual cos the rest either took leave or half day. it's not that i'm so hardworking or
despo for the money. it's just that i rather go in the morning cos less ppl in the office, so it's
more peaceful. i don't want to go in the afternoon where most ppl are already in the office and
already busy with work.
already 3 am.. then i still have to go to work in the morning. i think i'm the only one who went

anw, the china trip was so fun!! it's so rare that the whole family(almost) including my cousins,
uncles and aunts go on a trip together. in total there were 16 of us. plus we went for 6 days,
almost a week. to tell the truth, i'm actually quite reluctant to return. cos it's was seriously fun,
and never spent so much time with my family before. it was the first time i felt that a week
could pass so fast. anw, these 6 days were really memorable.
DAY 1 (6/4/07)
these are the remains of our breakfast at the airport, before we leave for xiamen.
the clouds so beautiful right? but some ppl just don't know how to appreciate.. haix.. anw.. 
listening to music.. there's abt 10 channels, but the songs repeat after some time, so it can get quite boring. i took this when we're touching down.. just a nice random pic.. haha.. anw, there's still a 2 hour plus ride to quanzhou, where our hotel is..

DAY 2 (7/4/07)
the place is really cold.. i slept in one position throughout the night.. couldn't even stretch my legs cos i would feel how cold the bed and blanket is.. going back to our home village.. actually i went back once in p5 before.. anw we saw this.. jay chou potato chips!! the well in our house.. i climbed thru this tiny ladder to the "3rd floor" aka the rooftop.. i guess i first overcame my fear of heights here.. haha.. but then afterwards we went to my great-grandfather's tomb, it was worse.. it was a steep mountain, with no handles or barriers.. i know i climbed before when i came last time in p5, and that time was no steps yet.. but then in my impression, it wasn't so high up and i wasn't so scared that time. to me, the height i climbed last time was at most one third of the one we were climbing at that moment. my uncle who also went last time was saying i should tell my other cousins that i climbed this mountain before w/o steps, but how can i tell them that when i myself don't believe it??
DAY 3 (8/4/07)
went back to xiamen and went for foot massage.. it was so soothing, and our soles became so
smooth, even at the heels.. but then again, those poor guys helped us massaged for over an
hour.. actually there's this age limit, that below 20 cannot massage, but we lied that we're 20
this year.. we asked for the reason, and they said might affect the development of some
organs in our bodies. though we were a bit scared, we still went on with it, and it was worth it.. the worse part was the ppl massaging for us were quite young guys around 20 to 23.. so to us it
was quite awkward, but at least they're quite friendly, so it wasn't that bad.. but surprisingly
they could tell that we're 18.. haha.. but we just insisted that we're 20.. then that night, we
took the internal flight to wu yi shan..

DAY 4 (9/4/07)bamboo raft ride!! it's a one-time experience.. at first i was quite scared, but it was surprisingly steady and peaceful.. until we learnt that the chairs are NOT tied to the raft..
haha.. but it's still very safe and it didn't pose as a problem, as long as you don't tilt
backwards.. then we went to climb this hu xiao yan (roaring tiger rock). only 8 of us (including
the tourguide) climbed this mountain.. the rest of them went down to rest at the foot. haix..
on the way up it was scary and i kinda started to regret, but it's too late.. and actually it got
better when it's higher up.. quite weird.. and the scenary is definitely worth it.. pictures can't
show you how high up we really are, and how majestic the view really is.. you've gotta be there
yourself to exp it.. anw none of the uncles or my dad went up.. among the 7 of us, there are
only 3 guys, and 2 of them are only sec 1.. the other is 20. among the 4 girls are me and my
cousin sharon, and her mum and our aunt.. on the way up we were discussing that the men in
our family are scared of heights.. so am i, but at least i'm adventurous enough to try and
overcome.. and this is a situation where being tall is a disadvantage.. cos you get the feeling
that you might topple over the barriers beside you.. some people really climb the mountain, as
in, on fours.. then we went to this yi xian tian (a thread of sky).. it's more of like a tunnel.. very dark and quite squeezy at some parts.. the tourguide was saying the thinnest part could be like 30cm.. so basically you have to squeeze past that tunnel.. no there are no nice scenaries after the tunnel.. yes, NO SCENARIES.. it's just experiencing the climb inside that cold and dark tunnel.. when you look up, the sky is like a thread.. it's very wet inside, and the walls are very cold.. but it's surprisingly clean.. cos we tot our clothes brush past the walls but it's not dirty at all.. same thing apply for our hands too..
DAY 5 (10/4/07)
climbing the tian you feng (heavenly tour peak)today.. this time more people climbed.. only 4
ppl stayed at the foot of the peak.. my cousin who sprained his anke, his mom, my mom and
my sister.. according to the tourguide, this mountain is not as tall as the one yest, but it's
steeper.. from here we can see the river that we went on the bamboo raft..

took the ferry to gu lang yu.. there's a piano museum there.. but too bad not allowed to take
pictures.. we took the buggy!! so fun.. anw in the afternoon we got to shop in xiamen then we
had to go to the airport already.. but the plane was delayed from 630 to ard 8.. we got free
instant noodles and drinks from the airport.. haha.. but they ran out of boiling water.. so we
had to walk to other gates to get the hot water.. haix.. really reluctant to come back to work.. i
wish we could play more over there..

Hey guys, don't say i didn't update okay=)
Here i am!!!
Just finished work and reached home super early today=)
As u all know this is like one of the rare occasion to reach home early. Yeah i'm rather homesick these few days.
Thanks mel for chatting with me last week at city hall there...
And yesterday i get to enjoy myself at home. sleep slack sleep slack. So nice but still ended up late for work.
Anyway on friday,went out with my class and tokcok with nf and lq till very late again.
Haiz guys can be so jerky at times and yet as an outsider u know it's not entirely their fault. Some are born naturally jerks. Pls erase whatever i've said over the phone with u all the last time.
Aiyah, let's not care about guys and be feminists. haha we will live together in the future right?
Then just now i was reading through the friendster testimonials.
Argh i missed school.
This is a holiday, but not much of a holiday also =(
No chalets, no bridge, no crapping in school. no after school stoning session at classbench. Work place still very diff although it does have some resemblance to school.
No one to go crazy with me in work. I miss u guys. Really still remember how much fun we had just playing monopoly at mel's house. Simple game, yet so enjoyable with u guys around. Can even forget that we are supposed to have exams the next day.
Thought after a levels can tong4 kuai4 de wan2 yi1 fan1. In the end everyone is forever so busy. Then because we needed clothes for office, we would always end up shopping. But the best feeling u get is still enjoy each other presence right?

No chalets, no bridge, no crapping in school. no after school stoning session at classbench. Work place still very diff although it does have some resemblance to school.
No one to go crazy with me in work. I miss u guys. Really still remember how much fun we had just playing monopoly at mel's house. Simple game, yet so enjoyable with u guys around. Can even forget that we are supposed to have exams the next day.
Thought after a levels can tong4 kuai4 de wan2 yi1 fan1. In the end everyone is forever so busy. Then because we needed clothes for office, we would always end up shopping. But the best feeling u get is still enjoy each other presence right?
